Gary John Miller
Gary John Miller is a comedian, writer, and actor based in Denver, CO. He has performed at the Crosstown Comedy Festival in NYC, Boulder International Fringe Festival, Front Range Funny Festival, and will be making his first appearance at the 2024 Edinburgh Fringe Festival. As an actor he has been nominated for best actor for the Austin Short Comedy Film Festival (The Runs) and his films he's directed have been featured at the Trash Film Festival in Croatia, Los Angeles Cinefest, and the Black Squirrel Film Festival.
As an actor Gary John Miller can be seen on AppleTV & Tubi as Richard in the late-night comedy Army & Coop, the villainous Stack in Compromised the series, Long Walks on the Beach or his appearances on Lifetime & Netflix in the Social Dilemma.
Gary Performs comedy in the Denver area with his sketch comedy group The Dads. The Dads were founded in 2019 and their debut comedy-story album Good Kids Daad City is available everywhere to stream. The Dads have had a residency at Chaos Bloom Theater starting in the year 2024. Gary also co-produces The Littleton Comedy Show.
Some education highlights include a BFA in Theater and English-Creative Writing from Augustana College, IL. His passion for storytelling and the performing arts was nurtured during his time at in college where he was on the improv team Heywire and won back to back Last Comic Standing competitions in 2014 and 2015, opening for acts such as Rob Little, Johnny Loquasto, and Angel Salazar.
In addition to his love for performing, he was a dedicated athlete and member of many clubs. As a 3-time letter winner in both Wrestling and a member of the Viking's Football team, he was also an editor of the literary magazine SAGA.
My journey as an actor and comedian didn't end with formal education. I've further honed my skills at renowned institutions like Second City, Under The Gun Theater, Atlantic Acting School, and Benjy Dobrin Studios. These invaluable experiences have enriched my artistry and expanded my range as a performer.
Comedy is not just my craft; it's my calling. I find joy in making people laugh and connecting with audiences through humor. Whether it's on stage or screen, my commitment to delivering genuine and memorable comedic performances remains unwavering.
